Ahmose-Nefertari of Egypt was the daughter of Seqenenre Tao (r. 1558-1555 BC) and Ahhotep I.
Her husband and brother was Pharaoh Ahmose I (c. 1549-1524 BC).
Both of Ahmose-Nefertari’s parents were children of Senakhtenre Ahmose (r. 1561-1558 BC) and Tetisheri.
Her father, Seqenenre Tao, fought against the Hyksos (Canaanites). He was succeeded by Pharaoh Kamose (r. 1555-1550 BC).
Ahmose-Nefertari was the mother of Amenhotep I, Ahmose-ankh, Siamun, Ahmose-Meritamun, and Ahmose-Sitamun. She was likely the mother of Ramose and Mutnofret.
The 18th Egyptian Dynasty started when Pharaoh Ahmose I defeated the Hyksos that had ruled northern Egypt for more than a century, marking the beginning of the New Kingdom.
The Hyksos were expelled by the 17th Dynasty pharaohs from Thebes, including Seqenenre Tao, Kamose, and finally Ahmose I, who founded the 18th Dynasty and the New Kingdom.
All the accounts present the Hyksos as the ancestors of the Hebrews, led by Moses.
Pharaoh Ahmose I was succeeded by Amenhotep I (c. 1524-1503 BC), who was then succeeded by Thutmose I (r. 1503-1493 BC).
